California Tried to Shut Down the Crappy Childhood Fairy | Anna Runkle
Anna Runkle, the Crappy Childhood Fairy, is an author, educator, and creator whose work focuses on childhood trauma, emotional dysregulation, and what is commonly described as Complex PTSD. Her YouTube channel has more than one million subscribers, and her book Re-Regulated lays out the daily practice at the heart of her work. After years of conventional therapy left her struggling, Runkle developed an alternative approach based on the techniques that transformed her own life. The California Board of Psychology shut down her coaching business, claiming she was practicing psychology without a license. Now she's suing the Board in federal court.
