76. Safe spaces, microaggressions and trigger warnings
Universities and college campuses have traditionally been a place for debate and the exploration of ideas. However, over the last few decades, the establishment of safe spaces, the rise in trigger warnings and microaggressions is creating a divisive culture. This results in censoring opposing viewpoints, limits critical debate and inhibits emotional resilience.
